Saw him with the Gillian Band at The Marquee back in the day. Great player, another sad loss.

I used to be in three but that was too much for me - although it improved my playing no end . Currently in one and for now that's enough.

Yes I heard about that too. Never played there myself but it was on my target list....looks like I won't get the chance to now

Most sad indeed. His playing on Tull's album Stand Up was a big influence on me.

Must say that I've had mine for three months now and whilst it's been tough on the left hand getting to grips with it I'm loving it so far.

I went to that one as well. A great night as I recall....it was a long time ago mind! I also saw "Thin Lizzy" just before they were re-christened Black Star Riders at The Cliffs Pavilion Southend. They were OK and did a good job on all the songs but....no Phil...

I play it as a hammer-on. Works for me.

Lem Oil for the boards and Dunlop guitar cleaner for everything else for me, no problems.

I use a Hercules Double and it works for me. Very sturdy and well made stands.

Same here. It seems only fair to me.

I send round mp3s so that everyone has the same version of the song. That way I know they've got it rather than hoping they remember to go to Dropbox or similar.

I agree with JTUK. And Percy's got more cred because of it. JPJ has done some interesting stuff post Zeppelin too.

Mind you I saw them at Knebworth so I'm satisfied!

I used to have 5er that looked just like this one, same woods etc. A tone monster and fabulous player. Wish I'd never sold it......

Me too! Both mine are HH. I'd like to try an HS to see how they compare. I usually favour the neck pick up to the bridge perhaps 60/40 it growls like a monster!

I had an old Overwater Progress II and a Progress III a few years ago and loved it, wish I still had them

Would highly recommend that you have a go one. Shukers are great too and worthy of a test play.

10s and 12s for me. I found that a 15 sounded a bit flabby and not very focused. Mind you my experience is based on an old Peavey 15" Cab I used to have so I might need my ears updating!
