1. You might get some questions such, as how much is the reserve? You might also get some chancers asking how much to end it early. If you've set a reserve then stick to it. Also make sure you've set your shipping terms IE no shipping overseas. You can also restrict bids to people with no feed back or negative feedback. Worth looking at these if you weren't aware?
2. Not for me either. I prefer GHS Boomers but I am also trying a set of SITs and they seem pretty good too.
3. Saturday morning bump. Make me an offer....you never know....
4. I got a Vox amPhone for Bass earlier this week and I'm very pleased with it so far.
5.
Camel, Flight Of The Snow Goose.
Oh yes! How did I miss that one!
6.
This is the one that really comes to mind for me. Jack Lancaster's prog production of Peter and the wolf. Used to play this a lot. Judging by the list below, he had a rather well connected phone book. Got most of my fav musicians on it too! I'll have to re visit it. Sadly all ones I can think of have already been mentioned. But didn't Jeff Wayne follow up War Of The Worlds with Sparticus? I have no idea whether it's any good or not mind Also Alan Parsons (Alan Parsons Project) did a few concept albums too, I think.
7.
Marillion - Brave, the story of a young lady found about to throw herself from a bridge , not knowing who she was and why she was there, and told as her back story. Fantastic, moody album.
Plus one from me for this one. I think this was the first Marillion CD I bought, been a fan ever since.
8. Bax came up in a few searches I was doing for various bit and bobs and each time they were more expensive than say Strings Direct and similar. Will keep looking though, you never know!
9. Sex and Drugs and Rock n Roll is not too difficult either. I couldn't find a bass tab but get the guitar chords and take it from there.
10. Sorry the 5 went some time ago.
11. Sunday morning bump. Please don't be afraid to make me an offer...you never know
12.
I find rolling off some treble makes them much quieter.....
Nickles are a bit quieter on the finger noise front and usually kinder to the fingers and the frets too. GHS boomers a worth looking at.
13. If you like a Jazz neck then try and find a Bongo to have a go on. The neck is brilliant plus a great pre amp.
14. The Stealth is still for sale if anyone is interested please let me know
15. Just heard it on the news, quite a shock. Only 77' no age these days. His "Janet and John" stories were very funny. Another sad day. RIP Sir Terry.
16.
That GG is stunning, genuinely stunning.

And what a fine collection it is too. You don't see many GGs, you forget what really, really nice basses they are; the others are lovely too.
Thanks chaps, the GG is a thing of great beauty.
17. I had and played several 5s over the years but always seem to drift back to 4s. So for me it's 4 all the way.
18. Here is my collection, with the last being added only on Saturday, which is the Suhr J. We have from left to right a fabulous PRS GG 4, the Suhr, Bongo HH 4 Stealth and my beautiful Pedulla Buzz I have never had such a beautiful looking or playing collection of basses and I am now officially bass GAS free. My rig however might be up for a change......
19. Much better than the original IMHO.
20.
Boss - light blue thingy
Me to, does what I need it to do.
21. I loved learning the bass part for this one. I also used a volume to pedal to mimic the cello part at the start of the song. Sadly our singer couldn't manage the vocals so it never sounded right and we had to reluctantly drop it. One day I'd love do it agin. We used to do Times Like These and DOA, which were great fun to play.
22. A very sad day. I watched his video for Darkstar a few days ago and I thought at the time that he didn't look very well....
23.
Be bop delux ?
Beat me to it.. Quite partial a spot of Be Bop Delux myself.
24. It's now at £3500.. Maybe he read this thread.....
25. My practice amp is a Line 6 Low Down110. It's Got some nice, useable features and it's served me well as a practice amp for several years now. Worth considering I reckon.
