Hi, selling my Ibanez custom Samurai bass. This is one of bass has a Japanese Samurai art mural done by artist Takeshi in 1988 and used for Ibanez promotion in Japan, the bass is also signed by the artist on the back. The bass also features EMG pj pickups and shark tooth inlays, which again I’m lead to believe is rare on this particular model.A top of the range example of the Soundgear series It has a few donks and lacquer chips, the bass is roughly 34/35yrs old so that has to be expected. Nothing major. Although it still has the plastic on the control cover. The bass plays wonderfully and has had a recent setup and new strings, also comes with a gig bag. Shipping is also possible. price drop £425…car bills to pay 🙈 many thanks

Hi guys, hope one and all are all well. Just wondered if anyone can offer me some advice, as since Brexit I haven’t brought anything major directly from the EU.. looking to buy a audio interface with some software from Italy. It’s currently on offer at €350. Am i right in thinking it will be subject to import Vat (20%) plus import duty and then the courier handling fee? Trying to work out what the final cost maybe, to see if it’s such a good deal? Many thanks

Hi guy's, Looking for some help and advice on buying a decent set of medium tension 5 string flats, that also have a tapered b string? Thanks
-
Yep I think your right, will have a play and see if I can get close. Think there’s a couple of deep impact sounds on the Nero page, will have a tweak, now I know where to start.. thanks

Hi I've not managed to scratch the surface in terms of using the editor, but one sound I've loved for years is Cass Lewis' effect on Twisted by Skunk Anansie. I've no idea if the C4 is even the right pedal for getting close to this sound - it sounds like an envelope filter to me, but I've never heard a normal filter pedal that can get anywhere near this tone, for want of a better word it just sounds so 'wet'! For those effects gurus what am I hearing here, is it a filter? A filtered synth? I've read that he used to use a Korg G5, would that be what he's using on this track? If anyone fancies having a stab at recreating this effect on the C4 (if it's possible) that would be awesome! Thanks in advance...

Hi guys, I was hoping to get some opinions regarding on this matter.... Could a band be held responsible if the audience decided to get up and dance, sing along etc.. at a outside function (marquee) after may 17th but before the 26th June. What I can make out is the function can take place but everyone needs to be seated? If people decided not too after one or two drinks, who’s neck would be on the block many thanks

Real-world gigging experiences post-COVID - how is it for you?
Brian45 replied to wateroftyne's topic in General Discussion
My band are still a little confused about gigging, as we been offered a couple of garden parties, although one is in a privately owned 5 acre field. Going by the current guidelines (were only weekend warriors) would anyone know if we fall into the 30 people max capacity? Thanks -
