3. Hi There Folks I'm posting this ad (see below) on behalf of a band in the Brighton/East Sussex area that I used to play with earlier this year. They're a great band, good players and very cool people to work with and they play some great stuff! Unfortunately, because of my new job and various other things going on, I've just recently found a band nearer to where I live, so I've said I'd help them in their search for a new bass player by posting an advert here... So here it is in the next post below. Thanks for looking Nik
 4. BUMPING this with a new price of: £130 I've finally sorted out my lightweight cab situation now, so am looking for a straight sale on this at £130. As I've already said, I'm happy to ship this and shipping's usually around £10. Any questions, please PM me or ask away here. Thanks for looking!

 6.
Yep, I'm definitely up for it. Dates have all worked out. Flying out to get married the following week...gh.
Cool
 7.
Nik will have the last word on this, but I imagine sharing on other bass groups is fine, as long as those who attend are or become Basschat members, and pay their entrance fee.
Agreed Silvia, Great to share it out as Trevor's suggested, but we really would want to encourage interested bass playing folk from other forums, groups etc to join Basschat and pay on the door on the day if they decide to come along to the Bash.. And it goes without saying that we're a friendly bunch, so they'll be made very welcome if they do!
 8. I'm looking for a light weight cab more than anything else as I'm quite happy with my basses, amps and FX, but feel free to PM me anything you've got in mind. I know it's a cliché, but worst I can do is say no. Thanks
 9. Great to see more names being added, and thanks for updating the list bluejay!
 10.
Also an audere pro Z3 preamp will be a great combination ..it have a perfect quality active sound and a special "mid range boost " circuit ..
Definitely! I had an Audere in a Yamaha 5 string a few years ago and it was excellent.. I'm still interested in trades for a light weight cab of some kind, if anyone's got one spare and fancies a great 5 string Jazz in return?
 11.
Hi, did you keep the preamp? is it the Japan made as prevouisly ? Korean or chines?
Hi there, I never had the pre amp when I bought the bass unfortunately. There aren't any markings on the bass that I can see easily that identify where was made, so I can't give you an answer on that right now.. Hopefully, one of it's previous owners here on Basschat might be able to shed some light as to it's origins? Sorry I can't tell you more. Nik
 12. Just sold a Schecter Diamond P5 to Pat and he was a pleasure to deal with throughout... Good communications, fast payment - all good ! Thanks Pat; enjoy the bass!...
 13. You're welcome Pat - enjoy the bass!

 15.
You're killing me
Sorry!
 16.
Hi there, I'm a newb but I will be there. I'll definitely be bringing a MK 1 Wal Custom and a Wal Pro IIE. Poss also an Aria SB700 and a Faith Neptune Titan Acoustic Bass. Looking forward to it. Trevor
Looking forward to seeing you there Trevor, and to hearing your talk about the history of Wal Basses! For those that don't know, it was Trevor who put together this fantastic website: http://walbasshistory.blogspot.co.uk/ and, along with his two Wals, he's offered to come to the Bash and tell us more about the history of this unique British bass.
