    I've been lucky enough to have had the chance to use this amp a couple of times and it really is good! With it's semi-parametric eq, it's similar in some ways to both the really good SWR and Eden amps of the 1990s, as well as being a forerunner of the Thunderfunk amps. But it definitely has its own distinct character... My memory of it is that its very loud, punchy, and detailed sounding. It will reproduce the inherent character of your bass really faithfully, but give you lots of scope to shape your tone.. Whoever buys this won't be disappointed - as well as giving you a great sound, it's also uber-rare and very cool looking IMHO. GLWTS Mike 👍

    Wow - I can't believe this is up for sale @jhk! Such a powerful and brilliant sounding amp. Amazing eq, bi-amp facility, compressor... As warm and punchy as anything, and so solidly made too. I've lost count of the number of times I heard this in action at one of the South East Bass Bashes, paired with your Yamaha 6 string.. What a sound combination that was! Anyway, I hope you're keeping well Jon, and GLWTS! 😊

    A pleasure to meet you too @mrtcat! Sounds like you've had a really busy 4 days, so I hope you enjoy your r&r time with your family... I always found wedding gigs to be the weirdest of the lot when I used to do them as part of a busy functions band.. Always seemed to go from one extreme to another, with not much in between! 😁

    Hi Folks, Oops! I've completely forgotten to bump this fantastic all valve amp up the listings recently, so in haste (as I'm my way to Gatwick Airport), this is a... 'I'm just about to go on holiday' BUMP! Back in 8 days time, but will be checking in on Basschat from time to time (as you do) from the pool side... Obviously, I'll be a lot poorer after being on my hols with both my kids, so feel free to make me a sensible-ish offer for this fabulous sounding bass amp...     Great basses, the T-40s... Particularly favoured by bass players in Nashville apparently. I've had a couple over the years and they're brilliant to use, really clever electronics and very versatile. GLWTS 👍
