2. I meant to upload this picture two weeks ago, but got distracted (at work) and then forgot.. So here it is - a pic of the Barefaced cabs that Alex brought with him on the day. A very handsome collection, I'd say.
3. Just sold an EBS pedal to Chris who was a pleasure to deal with. Everything went well from start to finish and, athough he's relatively new to Basschat, I'm more than happy to recommend Chris to everyone here. Thanks Chris; hope you enjoy the pedal.. Nik
4. Urban Karma (Bryn) demoed one of these at the South East Bass Bash last month and it was pretty impressive! Some very cool sounds, but very useable too.. I'd suggest you send him a PM to get more info.
5.
OBBM had this cab at the recent SE Bass Bash and it sounded HUGE!
+1 A really surprising cab this.. I first heard one at the gallery about 5 years ago and it sounded great there, but it sound even better at the Bash!
6. Thanks.. Well, it's just sitting around gathering dust at the moment, so I'm keen to move it on. At least that way it'll get used.
7.
Great stuff Silv, thank you for all the time and effort you've put in capturing the Bash in all its glory. You deserve a medal!
+1 Great pics Silvie! Some lovely gear that I never really got to see on the day.. That EAD cab looks fantastic - did anyone get a chance to use it and if so, what it was like?
8. Great little amp! I had one for a while and it's certainly one of the best lightweight heads out there for the money IMO.. Good luck with the sale..
9. Just a quick message to say that Ollie came over to help me out last week; he gave up a few hours of his time to help an old Luddite like me understand how to better use my Boss ME-50B FX pedal.. It's very cool by the way, now I know more about it's potential! Anyway, apart from the fact that he is a very talented and creative bassist/musician, he really knows his stuff when it comes to FX.. So, I'm hoping he'll do a workshop on it all at next year's SE Bash. Cheers Ollie Nik
10. I recently bought an unloaded Peavey cab from Robert which was exactly as described.. All in all, it was a very easy transaction and Rob's a really friendly person to deal with. Nik
11. BUMP for price drop to £50 + p&p for the OC3. Ebs BassIQ now sold. Thanks for looking

16.
How about a dedicated room for monster rigs and loud playing (with a health warning)? I stayed out of the main hall and mostly kept to the jam room and I never needed to wear my ear plugs. Because we could all hear ourselves, it was an absolute pleasure to be there.
+1 This is definitely something we need to get right at future Bashes and it's good to see a 'calm and reasonable' discussion taking place about it already.. We obviously want people to be able to come and enjoy the day as much as possible and that can sometimes be difficult to achieve because people have very different expectations of what sort of facilities/activities a Bass Bash should have on offer.. There are logistical and organisational issues that affect this directly; having enough spaces at our disposal for the day, having enough people to set up the various spaces at the start, being able to manage all the different rooms/spaces properly through the day, etc, etc, etc. Suffice to say that we're going to have a debrief about it between us, take on board what comments have been made, and then hopefully, we'll have a 'cunning plan' for going forward (as Baldrick would say).
17.
Yeah, there was gaffa tape in the tombola prize list too. We could have gaffa'd the velcro and velcro'd the gaffa...just to be safe, you understand.
