1. BUMP for a great bass and also for Jon, who's a really good person to deal with..
2. Cheers Pinball - a concise summing up of the situation I think.. Waiting until after summer's not such a problem and I do actually enjoy playing this bass - especially when I put it through my Daniel D turbo-booster pedal - it sounds massive! It's just the slightly narrower spacing than I'm used to that's an issue.. Maybe if someone has a wider spaced 5 string of a similar value they'd like to trade for this, it might be the best solution?
3. Thanks for the BUMP Shawman.. I need it! It's odd, but even though it's difficult times for everybody and there's a lot of nice basses for sale, I can't remember a bass or item of bass gear that I've put up for sale here on Basschat that's attracted less interest than this bass..?? Would welcome any feedback as to why that is, if anyone feels so inclined.. Whatever, It looks like the dreaded Evil Bay is looming!
4. BUMP for a price drop to £295 inc p&p..
5. BUMP for a price drop to £295 inc p&p..
6. Mmmm... Great looking bass and interesting p/up possibilities too.. Plus Gil's a great person to deal with, so buy with confidence! Have a BUMP on me..
7. Will this be the last 'pre-England match' BUMP I can do this month??
8. I had one of these a couple of years ago and it was a very nice bass indeed! Good luck with the sale
9. BUMP for a price drop to £300 + p&p...
10. BUMP! No interest in this thru-neck Ibby then? Any feedback welcome by the way... Nik
11. Hi Ash, Is this a 34" scale and what's the low B like? Cheers Nik
12. Amazing - dropped down 4 pages in 24 hours! For a depressed market, this Forum moves pretty quickly... Anyway, a quick pre- England match BUMP!
13. It'll be the serial number on the metal plate at the back.. The serial numbers are all on a database somewhere.. There's a link to it on here: http://www.trevorandthea.eclipse.co.uk/wal_history.htm
14.
Oh buggeration! I'm on my way back from my honeymoon that weekend - we're literally passing the door on our way back up the M4/M25. D'yer think my new missus will mind me popping in for a few hours? Might need to do some explaining as to why there's a bass and amp in the car on the way down This will be the second Bash I've missed - last year it was my sister's turn to tie the knot that weekend All the best Ian
Could be the shortest marriage on record if you try to come to the Bash, Ian?
15. The 34" scale makes it really easy to play IMO -especially if you still play a 4 string from time to time like I do.. And the B-string on mine is superb, regardless of the fact that it's not a 35" scale...
16. Hi Folks Monday morning B-U-M-P etc, etc, etc...
17. Thinking about this, as it's been refretted by Jon Shuker, this is virtually like having a new one !
18. Yep! Shouldn't be but it is... Have a BUMP on me Jon - for a great bass and a great Basschatter to deal with..
