3.
I don't recall what workshop urb would've been doing, but if it was to look at technique then I'd be happy to stand in in his absence... provided people were interested? I can look at 2 finger technique, the different variations thereof as well as what works and why. I can also go over the 4 finger Matt Garrison technique, slap/double thumb, left hand technique, harmonics (artificial and natural), muting, ergonomics, etc. I'd be happy to spend some time on explaining the above but also leave room for Q&A and looking at specific difficulties that people might have... a trouble-shooting clinic if you like? Music theory is also possible, but it depends what people want as it's quite a diverse topic and sometimes a bit drier than looking at more interesting techniques... though I like to think those I've taught find my teaching fun and accessible! I've messaged silverfoxnik about this but thought I'd add it on here in the event anyone is interested.
Thanks for this.. will be posting Workshop running order later today now everyone's confirmed!
 4. Thanks; might need a couple of short leads up to 1m if you've got any?
 5.
I've also got another friend coming along for the ride. They're not a BC forum user so not sure what you want to do about adding to the list.
No worries - just everyone's welcome, we can add them to the list now or just leave it until Saturday. Definitely agree we need to see more stuff happening in the Jam Room! nig; will you have a bass rig in there or do you need me to bring something? Agreed - it's real shame about urb not being there but we still have 3 or 4 workshops, which I'm just waiting to confirm timings on. Soon as I have that info, I'llpost them up later.
 6. Sorry SlackAlice can't make it but glad to hear you're still available Jake! Yes please to the Alembic : ) Did you get my PM?
 7. So much better! Thanks for all the improvements

 9.
As well as bringing my mini-rig and a couple of basses plus the DD that is currently up for trade, I also have some bits and pieces for trade or sale. A few 1m Klotz speaker cables that have been used a couple of times, some patch cords, a bag of used Neutrik jacks and whatever else I can find. Bassjumbles R US. Anyone need any specific cables to be made for Saturday?
Hi Dave Are you bringing along a selection of cables or only stuff that's been specially ordered? Nik
 10.
Nik - a chance today for me to make it from across the pond on business was squelched. I will be there in spirit and good luck to the south east winner!
That's a shame Mike but thanks so much for helping us out with the Raffle! You're an absolute star
 11.
Think me & mcgraham are still coming with Roscoe and Wood & Tronics goodness. All good. Looking forward to meeting folks! Shep
Cool! Looking forward to meeting you and seeing your W&T
 12.
I'm now looking at having to attend quite an important rehearsal slap bang in the middle of the day so I'm sorry to say it looks like I'm not going to make it - I'd love to be there to hang and play but I'm in the fortunate position of actually having some decent gigs at decent venues coming up so unless that all gets cancelled I simply can't do both - if I can come I will - hope that's not too much of a problem - sorry dudes Mike
Sorry to hear that Mike! Hope all goes well and see you next year...
 13.
Well now, looks like Paul the Drums will be coming, so I will bring my Status Graphite Vintage PJ4 and my Fender USA Deluxe Strat (with the trusty POD X3 Live) and encamp in the Jam Room so you buggers can have something to jam to. I think Happy Jack is bringing a little amp for me, thanks Jack, bottle of fun your way. I would like to see some more action in the Jam Room this year, we had great fun last year, but only five of you made it in. Bad signposting If you want to see how a bass stacks up against drums and guitar, the Jam Room is the place. Paul is a seriously great drummer and you can show off your odd meter skillz in there with me and him, or have a nice easy going jam in A major. Whatever. It's all lovely in the Jam Room and there's never a reason to be scared. Get the f*** in there, or be well f***ing S Q U A R E ! ! ! ! ! ! Also, sad to hear some regulars won't be making it, Clarky, et Cetera
Great news!!

 18. Hi Folks I've been away a lot lately, so haven't looked at the thread or updated it much as a result. Later tonight I'll update the attendees list, news on the raffle/charities and also the workshops! Just 2 weeks to go now All the best Nik
 19. Totally agree - these are fabulous cabs! Wouldn't mind another to be honest so I could run my H&K head at 2ohms and get the full 1000 watts, but my car & back and fellow band-members wouldn't like it...
 20. Gorgeous bass! These are so, so good.... Best of luck with the sale!
 21. Hi Folks Thread resurrection.. Still for sale or trade at the lower price of £90 inc p&p. Still interested in trading this, if anyone has a good DI box or anything similar which has a good DI attached - e.g an Aguilar Tonehammer? Thanks for looking. Nik
 22. Gorgeous looking bass! Heard one of these recently and was very impressed... Good luck with the sale
