2.
if anyone are listen the sound clip just for i'm sure the link work good.
They do work and they sound very good, as does the bass! Great range of tones as you'd expect with one of these which is why they are so good.. Took a while to download for some reason though.
 3.
Ace, especially the horns!
+1 Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! Thanks.
 4. Fabulous collection Chris!! The '64 P is really something.. Do you play with the pick up covers on then?
 5.
Just a quick update. After contacting Thomann and sending them a photo of the broken strings, they have agreed to send me brand new replacements of the strings (full packs, not just the broken ones.) They didn't make a fuss, and I didn't have to chase it up. +1 for Thomann customer service from me. My experience so far with them has been excellent. - martin
Good news! That's a great example of how to keep your customers..
 6. Just bought a Fostex digital recorder from Earbrass, who was a pleasure to deal with throughout! Got to say +1 on the good packaging as well; definitely NVQ 3 standard at least! Many thanks Richard...
 7.
Staker, At the end of the day its a feeler, and until the bass is sold at an acceptable price to you, its still a feeler. If you are so stressed about the price and putting it on offer or even selling it, do some research, get your prices right and come back to us.... its not like we are all going to hold you to a price on your bass and seek you out if you pull out of the sale..... You will also find that people on this forum will soon tell you if you are underselling, and that should reassure you that fair is fair.... Go for it, you have nothing to loose Steve
+1
 8.
As per title. Can't really be bothered anymore. Message ends.
That happened to me once Paul. Lasted 12 years. Then I got back into it.
 9. Thank you Gents!! You have both hit the nail on the head....whereas I normally can't! Having said that, the Homemade Rack Cases site looks brilliant Andy.. I now have my reading for the evening!
 10. Hi Folks I'd really like to use the amp part of my Eden Metro combo with another speaker from time to time, i.e. as a stand alone amp, which would mean taking it out of the purpose built housing it's in and finding some kind of custom made case for it. Trouble is, it's not a standard 19" rack size' it's almost 21" wide and 3" high so I can't put it into any standard off the shelf rack that I know of. So I wondered if anyone had encountered a problem like this before and if so, are there any solutions out there that you can buy or do you have to build your own case?? Thanks in advance for the help, Nik
 11.
Bump for price reduction.
That's a real bargain! Good job you won't post, as I keep coming back and looking at this bass...
 12.
Wow! What a beaut! I have never seen one of these before.
+1
 13. Fabulous looking basses, especially the Alleva Coppolo! Good luck with the sales...
 14.
To my ears ................. a much warmer ,fatter sound but without losing the usual well articulated definition of edens. also much lighter than the 4 X 10 xlt PHEW!!!
That's got to be good then!! Shame I haven't got any rehearsals over you way at the moment, otherwise I'd have an excuse to pop in for a quick listen.. And just to say Jon is a great guy to deal with, so for anyone interested in this cab, rest assured that you'll be well looked after and that Jon's bass gear is always top quality!!
 15. Gorgeous looking cab, Jon! As a matter of interest, what does it sound like compared to a 115 or 410?
 16. Looks great !! It seems to me like both pictures show the bass with the same p/ups..or am I being very dense?
 17. Thank you Chaps - much appreciated!!
 18.
Mmmmmmm . . . I'll take the Peavey and the fretless please.... nice line up
+1

 20. Kurca recently bought my Ashdown LG1000 and was great to deal with! All went smoothly and the whole thing was livened up by Kurca's great sense of humour and excellent communications throughout! Thanks Kurca - hope you enjoy using the amp!
 21.
Just completed an easy transaction with Andre to take the Peavey fretless off his hands - and prove once again to myself why I shouldn't play f/less (I've had to promise the band not to take it to gigs just yet at least ) A really nice guy to do business with.
+1 About Andre i mean, Al..not your f/less playing!
 22. Hi Folks Just bought a Hughes & Kettner Bassmaster BATT pre-amp from Gilles.. Am happy to say that everything went like clock-work; the pre-amp arrived in good time, perfectly packaged up for overseas shipping and with the valves taken out and carefully wrapped up inside another box for extra safety. Communications were 100% all the way and what's more, the BATT is absolutely amazing!!! Couldn't be happier Thanks Gilles!
