Recently met up with Paul, aka @E sharp on a grey and drizzly Sunday afternoon near Diss to buy his Eden WT-400 head from him. We didn't have long to chat as Paul was on his way to his third gig that weekend, and I was at a recording session that I needed to get back to... Anyway, despite the brevity of our meetup, what I can say is that Paul is a great person to deal with, he really knows - and looks after his gear - and he is very trustworthy. Suffice to say that you can deal with Paul in complete confidence, Folks! Paul - great to meet you and thanks for your patience with getting everything sorted out finally.. Hello Basschatters, A guitarist friend of mine has started working with a solo artist by the name of Dan Knight in the Northampton / Peterborough area, and they're looking for a bassist to join them. As I understand it, the plan is to do some live gigs to support the promotion of Dan's recordings which are already available on Spotify. Hi Folks, Had the pleasure of meeting Julian, aka @Soulmanyesterday to hand over my Ashdown CTM100 amp to him in exchange for a few shekels. Typical Basschat deal - we met in a pub car park just outside Shrewsbury (as I'm staying nearby for a few days)... It would have looked a bit dodgy if we hadn't had our two better halves with us to provide a sheen of respectability to the proceedings.. 😁 So, what can I say that hasn't been said about Julian already... He's a great guy to deal with, excellent comms, and has been a long-standing contributor to the Basschat community.
