I'm sure that's incorrect unfortunately. When I sent a bass at my local Post Office I was informed that only basic inclusive compensation is available for any musical instrument (£150 for Parcelforce 24 & 48). This is confirmed on the Parcelforce website. I had to send the bass that day so took a chance and it was nerve wracking until I knew it had arrived safely.

Labella Beatle Bass Strings Used for at most 30 minutes! I fitted them to a Harley Benton Fretless Beat Bass that I decided I didn't like & promptly returned. Superb strings & they vastly improved the HB as the stock Strings were naff. I also have a set of these on my Tanglewood Violin Bass & it sounds great. Widely regarded as the best Strings for violin basses & there's a couple of demos on YouTube. NB, these are the lighter of the two guages available. Price includes UK mainland postage.

Sterling by Musicman Stingray 5 Sub Series. Great bass. Plays well with recent Rotosound strings. In good honest condition with a couple of chips on the edges and a few surface scratches on the back. Also there is one point near full bass where bass signal cuts, this only happens when you're adjusting bass knob & never cuts out once set. It really causes no problem but I do want to mention it. I do have a Retrovibe Stinger 2 band preamp that I bought to replace the original. However, the original really causes no problem so I never even opened the Stinger. I am willing to include the Stinger (£65 at the moment on Retrovibe site) in with the bass for £250. Or £200 as it is. Only selling as I am sticking to short scale now. No trades thanks. Buying another bass today means I need this gone a bit quick. So mainland UK postage now included in the above prices!

31 minutes ago, petergales said: I think you would find the build quality of these basses is much better than Fenders. I agree. I have a Mensinger (Maruszczyk) Cazpar short scale (not the one for sale on here btw). The quality & workmanship is fantastic for a bass of any price. These instruments are great value new but unbeatable at the prices they are going for used. Just my opinion but you don't see much negative written about them. -
