Had lessons from about 15 years old from a blues teacher, so was playing blues and reggae, no YouTube then was just books ,and used to record songs on my cassette 😁 and just keep rewinding them until I got the Bassline

I’ve never had a fender bbot bridge with the 2 extra fixing holes on any I’ve had, and neither have they had a logo , just my opinion but I don’t think it’s a fender, didn’t Gotoh do one similar to yours? But I think it had the grooves for the saddle screws

I don’t know the song but listened a few times, definitely strange timing at the beginning where it changes, maybe put it on loop until you nail it

I think sometimes it can depend on how many drops he’s got down our way , or if it’s just the one journey from north to south

Looks great, I’ve asked this question before and Imo, I think as long as the re-fret has been done properly and with no damage to the fretboard it’s ok, if anything it should setup really good, value wise it will be a bit less than an all original one , same as anything that’s been changed, and would possibly put a collector off because it’s not 100% original, but to me it’s a sign that it’s been played , I’m pretty sure they change the nut when they re fret but perhaps someone else could confirm that

Yeah it would have been good if they had done a bit more playing and comparisons, I’d like to see the basses hanging on Andy’s wall at his home, I can understand some not wanting to take them to venues but I suppose it depends on the place and how safe you think it will be, I certainly play mine every day
