  1. I’ve seen Mato Cirade play that P, not sure which one of them owns it though, I used a precision for years before getting hooked on jazzes, I find you get better lows from a jazz but they both good
  2. I don’t know spectrum, Horace Andy’s safe from Harm is a version of the track by Massive Attack , which is also great
  3. That’s good to know, thanks 👍
  4. Very nice ead, how does the neck feel on your one , I tried the attitude ll and it was too chunky for me
  5. Think that’s a different album, the one I’ve got is this, it’s really worn and a broken case where I played it so much
  6. One of my favourite albums is The Chronicle, Dre and snoop around 1992 I think
  7. Yeah, my jazzes are through body and no problems, it’s on one of labella’s sites
  8. Welcome BassFace 👍
  9. Labella LTF’s can also go through body , the heavier gauges they don’t advise
  10. Hi mick, I’m no expert here btw but I did see a video once that said you can slacken off the truss rod and clamp the neck in the opposite direction to the bow, which would be in the backward position, and then try tightening it up again, I’m guessing it’s a 2 way rod ?, I’ll see if I can find the video, maybe start a thread for the experts to advise
  11. Joya landis, probably better known for moonlight lover but this is nice
  12. It’s a Linval Thompson day for me today, one of my favourite vocalist
  13. If it was mine I’d like to find out what’s original like the pickup dates, the pot dates, the tuners, bridge etc, and more importantly if the truss rod works ok as the nut looks quite far in , a buyer will ask all these questions, looks like it dates to 69, very cool bass and a lovely patina 👌
  14. Very nice, congrats 👍, I’ve got a 1024 with labella LTF’s and setup with a really low action, they are quite a powerful bass and play really nice, I don’t play it enough as I tend to always pick up one of my jazzes , I must get it out tomorrow
