    Yeah, that’s the thing, there’s been lots of basses I would have bid on if there were the usual pictures of the neck stamp and pickup dates etc, I suppose it’s a chance you would have to take but I’m not willing to do that for quite a few thousand

    They get better with time as well, maybe a bit warmer sounding but nothing drastic, they really matched my precision’s well

    I saw those, they only seem to give basic info on their basses when I asked, and it’s a bit of a journey for me to have a proper look

    Thanks Rayman, at the time I was playing heavy dub with old labella’s which I still have so they probably would have been a lot brighter ,but now I dabble in a few different types of music (badly 😁), nearly all my basses have LTF’s and the TI’s are a similar tension so I’m quite looking forward to trying them

    I briefly tried them years ago and from what I can remember they were a bit bright at the time so I thought I’d give them a better try on one of my precision’s

    I don’t really use pedals as I really like the sound from the valve amps, but I do have a few, obviously it looks safe to do this but I’ve always been a bit nervous thinking it would damage the valves or something, can it cause any issues?
