  1. 😲, are you ok frank 😁
  2. I paid £1500 for my jazz elite and I think it’s worth every penny
  3. Same here
  4. Congratulations, that’s very nice, I don’t know why but I’ve never got around to buying a Fodera , there’s certainly some lovely ones around
  5. That’s a good excuse to have both 😁
  6. Great one Chris, I play this, really nice Bassline ☝️
  7. Old pic , it’s a maple board and jazz neck profile but the same model I think
  8. I’ve got an older mim precision which I put a jazz neck on, it’s very comfortable to play and personally I didn’t notice any difference in the sound, I’d say try it, if it’s not to your liking you can always change it back
  9. I’ve got the same bass from 1999 I think, if yours is anything like mine the necks are fantastic, if mine got to that stage I would have a refret
  10. Great cab and a great price, this is what I use, GLWYS Ander ☝️
  11. Welcome Gary 👍
  12. Hi, have you tried D’addario black tapewound strings, I’ve got 2 jazzes with them and they give a nice warm deep sound
  13. Any Horace Andy fans like me will enjoy this tiny desk concert , especially at 5.01 Doug Wimbish on bass holding down the groove to Safe from Harm, far right is Adrian Sherwood producer
  14. I nearly only play fenders now, I’ve had many other brands but always ended up shelving or selling them and going back to a jazz or precision, which makes it easier to shop for basses 😁, I would say every US one I’ve got or had has been worth the money, these days I tend not to look at the resale value but rather what it’s worth to me
  15. Thanks ez, and there’s no original case so not very good
  16. I’m still looking for a 68-72 precision and I saw this, I enquired but looking closer at the pics on my phone there’s some chipping on the fretboard that’s put me off , would you say that’s from a bad refret https://www.reidys.com/bass-guitars-c1349/fender-1971-precision-bass-rw-3-colour-sunburst-p10255/s10855?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=fender-1971-precision-bass-rw-3-colour-sunburst-0000000330329&utm_campaign=product%2Blisting%2Bads&cid=GBP&glCurrency=GBP&glCountry=GB&gclid=EAIaIQobChMImKSz1YjJ-wIVDeztCh1Z3A1HEAQYASABEgIl_PD_BwE
  17. Yeah, I didn’t have time to go and look ,so I enquired about what was original and if the truss rod was ok but they couldn’t give a definite answer , someone might have got a bargain
  18. I’ve had lots of my basses hanging on the walls for years with no problems whatsoever, I’m sure you will ,but just fix your hangers securely 🙂
  19. There was one for sale in a local cash converters for £90, I offered £50 but they wouldn’t sell, I don’t know what they are worth but I would have given it a shot at 50
  20. It sold about 20 minutes ago for £1300, you have to add approximately 30% commission to that
  21. Pink , all day long ☝️
  22. I’ve used these for years and have them on about 7 basses and as Si mentioned, I’m pretty sure there’s only one type, they did change their packaging a few years back
