  1. Worth checking out Barefaced cabs, they are very well built and really light
  2. Perhaps they do ,but given the prices they can get by selling them at auctions because of who they are is so high they sell them
  3. It seems to me that the value of the 60s and early 70s ones have increased quite a bit in the last 3 or even 2 years, and there’s less of them available as there was before ,especially in the uk , in the US they seem to be fetching high prices
  4. Sean Hurley is fast becoming a hero of mine, he doesn’t really play the music I play but he’s got so much groove and articulation going on and I like his playing style, great video here
  5. Great combination for the real Ampeg tone, looking forward to hear how you get on 👍
  6. Clinton fearon, breaking news, this is so good
  7. I’ve got a 2014 US jazz that’s well played and just feels like home, so I’d pretty much take that for any situation
  8. What can be annoying is when not all the pics are there and it’s listed as all original, then when you ask for more info it turns out that it’s been re fretted, pots replaced, pickups rewound, replacement bridge, etc etc 🙄
  9. Have you tried the 3 dots on the top right to edit 🙂
  10. Addis Pablo following in father’s footsteps
  11. Don’t know where they got that price from
  12. Not sure if you’ve seen this , I don’t have any soundclips fretmeister, but Cameron did a great review on them
  13. More like labella FS , but lower tension and not as bright as TI’s
  14. My Sandberg had a lovely ebony board, that’s probably a favourite but I also like the dark rosewood, really don’t like the light wood ones
  15. Old time classic lovers from 1978, revelation
  16. The reason I only use tube heads now is I play mainly at home or studio these days and I really don’t like fan noise, if I do play elsewhere I’ve got other heads for that
  17. I’ve got the V4B and against the CTM100 the thing I’d say is that the eq is pretty limited, whereas the V4B has a much wider variety of tones ,not that I use much in what I play but the V4 midrange is immense, I’ve never had either up full
  18. Nice one jimmy 👍, how is it, I was offered that one but I couldn’t get there to try it
