  9. Hey Andy, I’ve just remembered that I had these in my string drawer, I’ve been through so many strings but I’m fairly sure they are labella originals and high tension, the silks are a bit frayed but you can have them for nothing if they are any good to you
  10. I tried those , light blue silks I think, and yeah they are very stiff feeling, maybe ok if you play with a pick but they wasn’t for me, they are still in my string drawer
  11. Just bought Graham’s tascam, absolute gentleman to deal with, great communication, a highly recommended BC’er , thanks, Tony 👍
  12. It would be good to have some kind of flatwound tension chart as this gets mentioned quite a bit , I took this a long while ago when someone asked me about my strings , these are LTF’s
  13. Fender flats as mentioned above ,I found to be quite mid focused, they are also high tension, they wasn’t for me but it depends what your looking for
  14. They are my go to strings these days, once they are played in they are even better
  15. Perhaps that’s why they stopped using red, they ran out of blood 😁
  16. Could it be ? 01- precision 01- rosewood batch number 4= 74
  17. Have you had a look at this site http://www.guitarhq.com/fender.html#serial
  18. Hi bb, I don’t want to derail walshy’s thread, you might try here as there’s some very knowledgeable people there 👍
  19. One of my heroes stew, he’s played on so many tracks it’s unbelievable
