    I only play fenders now really and over the years I’ve had a lot of different ones , imo the AVRI series are the better ones, especially the earlier ones which is what I have, I couldn’t find much difference with them and the custom shop models by way of quality, the 62 RI jazz and precision are my favourites along with a few vintage

    I see some of rod Stewart as miss RB was watching it, even though he was out of tune I did find it entertaining and good for him for having a go at his age, also I think his bass player changed basses 3 times, one looked like an early 70s P

    Glastonbury black Uhuru, only 1 original member now but still sound pretty good

    Black Uhuru are my favourite band and I play a lot of their basslines but there’s quite a few that trip me up if I haven’t played them in a while, Robbie Shakespeare had a wonderful way of slightly changing things around part way through, darkness is one

    Congrats cat, I did similar with my Hohner B2A, I bought it to try and love it, I found it a bit strange on a strap at first

    Nice old jazz there, would look nice in Olympic white, and with a nitro finish it would wear naturally

    There’s something not right there, I haven’t used mine for long periods of time but I use it regularly and I don’t charge it very often, maybe drop your question here and see what others are saying

    I’ve got one of these (not to this great spec) , for anyone who hasn’t tried one they really are good, and mr dodgnofski is amazing to deal with, GLWYS

    One tip I would add which was a big mistake I made, obviously spray in a well ventilated area but don’t do it outside, I sprayed mine and hung it up and millions of little bugs and flies stuck to it 😁, I had to re do it

    As above if you want totally matt, I did my shell pink jazz in satin which is slightly more shiny but not as much as gloss, looks great rob

    Yes so good Frank and it wasn’t that long ago really that I found out that Christine woodbridge was the bass player , real sound system style, mikey dread is one of my favourites from Channel One sound, he knows exactly just when to drop the bass, I can’t get enough of this especially with the Earl 16 mix
