  1. If anyone is interested the Bob Marley Uprising live concert is on Sky Arts , and another good program is on after that too about Marley , and later is the Cimarons story which is definitely worth recording, quite a touching story
  2. Learning the Bassline to this one and while going through different recordings I came across this, backed by the Gladiators
  3. Sounds like a great night, nice one
  4. That’s what I used for quite a few years and I’ve still got one of them, great cabs , nice deep bass
  5. A favourite of mine at the moment I’ll be working on tomorrow
  6. Good tune Tandro, on hearing that this came straight to mind , old classic
  7. The baass was half way round from me
  8. Not as far as some here but all the way round the M25 , 33 junctions I think
  9. That’s what I have too on my Hohner B2A which is the same scale I think, great strings
  10. It’s a bit pricey for a set of flats imo, but if it turns out that they feel and sound exceptionally great for you then it’s worth it , you don’t know until you try, I held back buying the Olinto signature flats because I thought they were too expensive ,but gave in and bought them eventually and I’m really glad I did as I’m liking the change from my normal strings
  11. Nice one, very good
  12. Just to add, labella LTFs and the TIs aren’t floppy, they are lower tension though than the others mentioned, I also had the fender flats and they are fairly high tension , maybe look at labella 760 FS they are a nice string that still have brightness even when played in
  13. Currently learning this, great bassline
  14. There’s quite a few vintage washboards on eBay but I don’t really know anything about what they are
  15. Nice one, well done it looks great
  16. I saw that last night, I believe there are a few matching headstock precisions in existence but I don’t think I’ve ever seen one up close, first glance it looks like a refinish to me
  17. Scary stuff really isn’t it , we’re talking about a lot of money here these days, it’s why I tend to stick mainly with reputable sellers
  18. Yeah t he early 60s ones were pencil but later they were ink stamped
  19. Thanks for showing this Brian
  20. Wow someone has gone through a lot of work to do that, it’s not an exercise it’s a good attempt at faking, it could easily fool someone, not good in my opinion, makes me question how many others are out there
  21. As far as I know this would be one of the original versions before it was remixed in around 91 I think, it’s a lot slower and you can hear the basssline , it’s on the album Songs Of Freedom Rarities , is this the one you heard myke?
  22. I thought the slab boards were only an early 60s thing, up to about 62 ?
  23. I tend to dip in and out of Alborosie tunes , I used to play a lot of his basslines, I’m liking this and we all recognise the bassline
