  7. Up until recently I used markbass 15s with my RM 500 , they are bassy which suited me, but not a muddy sounding cab ,I still Have them but I use a bb2 now
  8. Re the through body stringing, labella only recommended LTFs and 760FS-TB , I wouldn’t try the golds myself, they might be ok but you wouldn’t want to ruin them 🙂
  9. Happy birthday for yesterday Ray, it was my birthday too 😁, I keep thinking I’m done and then something catches my eye, I was happy with my markbass rig and then Ashdown brought out a new amp so I had to have that, then a barefaced cab had to be added, and then I got the valve itch so another amp was purchased , now I need a vintage fender, does it ever end , it’s good fun though 😁
  10. It’s not just you, I had a road trip to Northampton a while back 😁

    Limelight

No , I’ve never liked that, the satin finishes feel nicer to me

    Limelight

Strangely that’s one thing that I don’t like, I know the neck would be worn if it was a heavy relic and kinda matches but it’s put me off buying a few custom shops before, I like a clean neck 🙂
  16. I did my own little comparison yesterday with the RM500 and the V4B through the bb2 with my jazz elite on the same settings ,in both active and passive modes, both amps are nice , I would say the rm gave a more mellow tone for reggae, whereas the v4 is very clean and deep , both are great, just different 🙂
  17. I’ve been meaning to put some time aside to get this together properly, I bought it when it first came out and I’ve played it before but I drift off into my own version, so I’m going for the extended mix today
  18. I’ve got a V4B and it has 2, 4, and 8 outlets , here’s a pic from the manual
  19. Yeah definitely mr B, check out discogs if you get time, if you haven’t already, he’s been involved with so many people over the years and browsing through I remember so many of them
  20. Dennis Bovell , nice tune Dub games
  21. Pretty much what’s been said above, I fitted one to one of my jazzes just to give it a try a few years back, I play with a light touch so it wasn’t a massive difference but I do like it and it’s still fitted
  22. Normally Avocado and pomegranate seeds with a guacamole, mint and lime sauce 😁, or the nearest burger wagon
  23. Can’t believe someone would do that to a 61 jazz, it’s not even nice 😁
  24. This is a strange one on reverb
