    Question time 😁, as above I use a bb2 which is 8 ohms, which I plug straight into the 8 ohm outlet on the V 4B, I’m thinking of adding a barefaced 2x10s , which is switchable to 4 or 12 ohms, my question is would I just switch the 2x10 to 4 and with an extra lead plug it into the 4 ohm socket on the amp , here’s the spec on the amp, cheers

    BF cab’s are really well built and light, so I think even with those speakers it could still be be a nice cab

    They are a great jazz, the stack pots take a while to get used to but I really like them, good build quality too

    Congrats 👍🏻, I like the look of those, last time I was at Ashdown they didn’t have any there for me to try, how would you describe the neck shape and what is the nut width on them

    I’ve been exploring Bertram McClean who was also known as Ranchie , he played on so many tracks in the early years and also worked with Sly Dunbar, nice playing on this

    I’m probably not a lot of help to you as I don’t play heavy rock , I use a tube amp myself but I’ve also got the RM500 which is great, and I would say it will cover all genres, they are amazing value, there’s a thread here if you wanted to have a read up 🙂

    I’m pretty sure the preamp drains the battery when the bass is plugged in, even if it’s switched to passive , doesn’t the lead complete the circuit

    Thanks for that oakforest 👍🏻, I didn’t really know much about them so I had a quick look and the only track I recognise is this one , I didn’t know Tappa Zukie produced them either
