  1. That’s great to hear, thanks 👍
  2. Welcome Andy 👍
  3. A couple from Bitty McLean , the first one I decided to learn , nice Robbie Shakespeare Bassline Both from the album Movin on
  4. Here’s the back
  5. Headstock pic
  6. I’ve switched from both on my jazzes with no problem
  7. Learning to play a 5 a few years back was one of the best things I did, it was great fun learning and I still play it now and again but for me it confirmed that I prefer 4 strings 🙂
  8. I saw that Quilly and I can’t believe that no one bought it, if I didn’t have my V-4B I would have had it, I like my ss amps for convenience but for me the sound of valves is so nice
  9. I’m guessing it’s been put together by someone, so a bitsa possibility or very rare, looks kinda cool though
  10. That’s what I was wondering as I don’t think I’ve seen a bound one on a precision, apparently the neck is stamped 68 A
  11. Strange one here, it’s advertised as a 1967 precision with a factory fitted jazz neck ?
  12. It’s worth keeping an eye out on here for them, lots of people try them and sell them on for whatever reason. i like my flats when they are played in ,so I’ve got a thing with a few BC’ers here who message me after they’ve had their labella’s on for a while and change them for new ones, so I buy their used ones , which comes in handy when I get new basses 🙂
  13. On to the Twinkle Brothers now
  14. Glad to help , I’m no expert like some here , you’ve got a really great one there , well done 👍
  15. Lovely ☝️
  16. On a little Dennis brown one this morning
  17. Shell suit
  18. Thanks, I don’t normally use the bridge pickup , does that mean I would get hum from just using the neck pup
  19. Thanks for that , very helpful 👍
  20. Welcome Steve 👍
  21. A good setup that your happy with will make all the difference to your playing, it’s well worth it 🙂
  22. Nice one, thanks Lozz, would the QPs have more lows than the stock ones for reggae, do you think
  23. That’s a nice setup, I used markbass for years, only with 15s, I sold my amps but I’m keeping the cabs, a precision will sound really good through that, nice one ☝️
  24. I’m no slapper, but I think even I can do better than that 😁
  25. Great scientist track here, my lady’s dub
