  1. Not sure if we’ve had this, I quite like it
  2. Very nice 👍, I nearly bought a nash jazz a while back, I’ve only ever read good things about them
  3. Just cruising through chingford listening to some Delroy Wilson
  4. The one that was for sale on evilbay has been relisted
  5. I think you’ve nailed it Ricky ☝️😁
  6. It looks great the way it is I think, like you say, it’s part of its character
  7. Could you stain the other strip to match the darker one?
  8. I never noticed that, I’ll take a look 👍
  9. Looking at the fingerboard I’d guess the truss rod isn’t good
  10. One of Ampeg’s suggestions is the SVT-15E , has anyone tried this cab
  11. Thanks BA, I nearly bought your one, too much low end isn’t possible for me 😁, I’m edging towards the one you had , I’ve emailed ampeg for recommendations
  12. Scroll to the left gives you the 2012 colours , I think more were added later https://www.chorder.com/electric-bass-guitars/fender/2012-american-standard-jazz-bass-8784
  13. Ampeg V4-B, it’s quite beastly
  14. I’ve found exactly the same with my 1024, I was playing my US jazz and left all the amp settings the same , the 1024 was quite a bit louder and considerably deeper on the bass front, I wouldn’t say it was better, just different 🙂
  15. Omg how cool is this, none for sale though
  16. Thanks mr P , I’ll take a look 👍
  17. Thanks JL👍, very informative, so I’ve just ruled out the HE, I’ve no use for a tweeter 🙂
  18. I’ve just got an ampeg V4-B amp and I’d like to pair it with an ampeg 115 cab, the 3 main ones I think are PF 115 LF PF 115 HE SVT 15 E but I believe there’s others, I’m using my Markbass ny 115 at the moment which I like , but I fancy trying an ampeg to match, what’s the differences and will I still get nice deep lows for reggae and dub 🙂
