Definitely Paul, I’ve got 2 jazzes with those, such a nice warm sound

My precision was my go to bass for years with labella flats, simple to eq and a great sound, but then I got the jazz bass bug and didn’t use my P for about 5 years, at the moment I switch between both, what I find with the jazz is i can get a deeper fatter more rounded sound than I can the P, but saying that I’m currently looking for a 68-74 precision 😁, I’ve seen footage of Aston Barrett using a P but that might have been before he got the jazz

I’ve never really used any pedals, but that does look and sound great, my only pedal’s are a tuner and the sansamp VTbass , which I don’t use much as I’m all valve now

Aka Koxx is a great player and there’s some nice basslines on his channel

I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with the 1024, the output is definitely higher than the 414 I had, it’s very well put together and it seems to me to have more variation in tone, I play reggae and this really puts out some lows, and the action on mine is 1.5 at the 12th with no buzz, it sets up well 🙂
