  2. They aren’t ply, and yours still has the truss rod cover which is normally missing , solid brass nut and brass dot markers ,not sure if the knobs are original, nice 👍

  10. I see reggae on the Heath was cancelled where culture club and David rodigan were due to appear , apparently due to ground movement and the stage moving , there was a good line up there too
  11. This is how I’ve played for years ,but I wouldn’t say that I’m in the “plonky “ brigade, perhaps your style of playing is changing
  12. They are good strings, not very expensive but great value for money 👍
  13. I still use a LB30 with an Ashdown 115 cab for home use and it sounds great, but I found the MB cabs sounded better basswise for reggae and dub , I suppose the best way to describe it would be warmer
  14. I had Ashdown cabs with Ashdown heads for years, then switched to markbass heads with the same cabs, then bought 2x15 NY markbass cabs with markbass heads, now I use Ashdown RM500 head with markbass cabs, if that makes sense 😁, but I’m now contemplating a CTM 100 with MB cabs

  19. Welcome skin lewis ☝️, great to have you here , the late 70’s and 80’s was a superb time for reggae and dub, I’d say most of my all time favourites were released around then , I dig the vinyl out of my loft every now and then, it really takes me back
