It’s usually an easy fix by just slackening the screws off and moving it over slightly, the neck was probably removed for authentication of the neck stamp

It was, i set it up back then and fitted labella LTF’s and haven’t had to touch it since, they are really well built , early fenders are my thing but it’s nice to play the Yamaha now and again
I’m kind of along those dates too , I don’t think of anything over 79 as being vintage, we’ve chatted about this before and I think people of different ages have different ideas
I know my capabilities and no way could I play that, not only is it full of ghost notes, it’s a speed my fingers don’t go to, I could do a root fifth slow version 😁
