  1. Yeah A bit of compression works well for me, probably around a 1/4 turn, any more and it doesn’t sound very good
  2. I’m guessing it’s a scam to get your details
  3. I’m not familiar with them, that’s so cool
  4. Questions don’t appear on the listing unless the seller add’s them to the description, do they?
  5. It’s in dalston 👍
  6. I’ve been reading up a bit lately about precision’s as I don’t like the bigger necks, and I think they changed from C width to B width in mid 68, but with fender their parts can overlap, it’s quite a minefield, but most 70’s ones I’ve seen have the B neck
  7. I think you’ll find the site update fixed that 🙂
  8. There’s a Nate Mendel on gumtree at the moment which looks ok
  9. Looking at the pictures of this one and I can’t say I’ve ever seen a neck pocket like this 😁 https://www.andybaxterbass.com/collections/bass-guitars/products/1966-fender-precision-bass-olympic-white
  10. Sometimes just a 1/4 turn on the truss rod nut can make a big difference , it might be all it needs, the main thing is that it’s nothing serious, just a bit of tweaking 🙂
  11. Very nice Luke ☝️
  12. Lovely 👍
  13. I’m no expert btw, but have you tried packing the strings up at the nut to see if it’s that 🙂
  14. I’ll take this if it’s still available please 🙂
  15. Great Bitty McLean Bassline to play, played here by Robbie Shakespeare
  16. Yeah that’s what I thought, looks like a really nice 63 though , not many around 🙂
  17. Even though I usually play jazzes I fancy an early 70’s precision, while browsing I came across this, it’s a bit pricey for me because someone famous owned it , but what a beautiful precision , it won’t let me post the link
  18. Thanks Dave , it’s much clearer now, I’ll give it a go with a plictrum 😁
  19. Never heard of it so I had to google it, and I just don’t get it , I think it needs some bass 😁
  20. I’ve never thought of where my stuff came from really, I just buy the best of what I like, my basses are mainly US jazzes and precisions but some are Mexican, also Yamaha and hohner, cabs are barefaced and markbass, amps are Ampeg and Ashdown, so there’s quite a mixture in there
  21. Nice tune t-h 👍
  22. Very nice indeed 👍
  23. Really nice Clarky 👍
