    My custom shop jazz had that and nothing I did would get the action lower than 2.5mm unfretted at the 12th fret, I play with 1.5, I sold it on to someone who was happy with a higher action

    Just a quick update, this is now in my bass room ,and my sceptical thoughts about a 12 not being able to put out enough low end for me has been absolutely blown out the window, the big baby 2 is a beast, really deep clean lows and the V4-B sounds superb through it

    Sounds perfect ubit 👍, and a great Bassline to play, a few friends of mine use rounds with foam under the strings at the bridge just to mute a bit ,and they sound great

    The sonic blue looks great , I don’t think I would change that one 👍, I really like the ice blue metallic, I very nearly bought the jazz elite in that colour a while back

    Just browsing a few basses as usual ,and there’s a 62RI jazz for sale in what’s called, Rare Caribbean Mist, I’ve never heard of this colour being on a fender, looks good though

    I suppose it depends on what you play, I don’t like new strings, most of the strings on my basses are between 5 and 15 years old ,and if I need more I usually advertise for used flats, but they obviously wouldn’t be any good if you wanted that nice bright tone for slapping or funk
