  1. I’ve been enjoying the Winston Reedy vibe today
  2. If you send me your bass I’ll have a go, I think I’ve got a chainsaw somewhere 😁
  3. No not yet, they seem to be quite rare, probably a bit overboard for home use at the moment but you know how it is 😁
  4. This is how I found it sounds slightly better for me, I also noticed I can hear more of a difference in my basses with the valve amp than I can with the RM500
  5. Thread resurrection here, did you ever get the dubster 2 Al, I’m eyeing them up at the moment , what’s your thoughts 🙂
  6. Perhaps that’s what the 6in screw is for sticking out the back 😁
  7. Do many people go, is it a busy auction house
  8. Just been using the V4-B, it’s got a wonderful tubey sound 😊, can someone tell me what the difference is between having the gain up and using the master as a volume, or having the master up and using the gain as volume, I can’t hear a great difference
  9. I do like Alborosie, I bought Dub Clash about 10 years ago , there’s some great Basslines on it
  10. I do wish you wouldn’t keep showing my work 😁
  11. Labella are pretty much all I use , the last few years I’ve took a big shine to the LTF’s , I really like the sound and tension, which is a bit lower than yours, stick with them they really do just get better and better 🙂
  12. Yep, just keep playing them, they take a while to settle in but once they do you will never have to change them , they eventually become silky smooth
  13. Time for a bit of Johnny osbourne
  14. That’s interesting really, I used to listen to a lot of Dre and snoop and never heard them referred to as hip hop, but this is what’s said, Snoop Dogg, byname of Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr., also called Snoop Doggy Dogg and Snoop Lion, (born October 20, 1971, Long Beach, California, U.S.), American rapper and songwriter who became one of the best-known figures in gangsta rap in the 1990s and was for many the epitome of West Coast hip-hop culture
  15. It’s a bit more hip hop I’d say, but a great track
  16. I’m a bit more old skool rap, I was and still am a big Public Enemy fan , this is another that takes me back
  17. The flats or rounds debate 😁, I only use flats so that’s my vote ☝️
  18. Trevor laird (far left) was in the reggae film Babylon
  19. He was Jim carver in the program The Bill
  20. I regularly view the auction for vintage fenders but I’ve never bought anything, it looks like there’s some bargains sometimes, I’m sure you can view before you buy but it’s quite a way from me
  21. Does it sound good at low volume or does it need to be up a bit
  22. There’s a bit of info here spyder 🙂
  23. I’d be asking why I was refunded when there’s still one for sale 🙂
  24. Another nice one from Delroy Wilson, I’ve heard other versions, I must explore
  25. I’ve just got a B4-V which is 100w , I haven’t cranked it up yet (well I might have just a bit 😁) but it goes seriously loud, unless you’re playing a big outdoor event I’d say it’s plenty loud enough
