Yeah 😁, I’ve never been there myself but I’d love to check it out, there’s been some serious recording there, lots of the early Marley was recorded there
You won’t break anything, you remove the knobs and just unscrew the nuts on the top to the jack and pots , put them to one side, and place your new guard on and re-screw the nuts and washers , then just pinch them up with a small spanner or pliers 🙂
I always like to see a one piece myself, being a carpenter and joiner, I don’t like to see the join, I wouldn’t know if it affects the sound, there’s been many discussions on that 😁, here’s my Sandberg , which has a satin finish
