    Was they new flats, only some can feel tacky out of the packet but once they are played in they are silky smooth, maybe buy a lightly used set from here, they come up quite often 🙂

    Mine was really nice, I couldn’t fault it, I just thought Japanese build was supposed better, but maybe not

    I’d say it’s worth £550, I’ve just sold my 70s RI mim, for £500 and I’d say build quality wise this is probably better

    Thanks, I got one yesterday and im just trying it out with different basses, the jazz and bb1024 sound superb , my Hohner B2A has an active/passive switch and I just wondered if it’s ok to play active through the 0 dB input

    Quick question about the V4-B, I understand the -15 dB is for active basses but is it safe to plug in an active bass into the 0 dB input
