  10. There was a black bb714 for sale a while back that I really should have bought, I can’t remember where it was, I really liked the idea of that neck pickup, I thought it would be ideal for what I play

Yeah, he’s a very underrated singer who worked with all the top bands and producers In the 70s and 80s, Check out the album ,Gunshot , the first track I think heard from him was on rodigans reggae around 82, he was around the same time as Hugh mundell , I’m sure Anthony did a version .This is a great one

  14. There’s lots the other way round, but I’m struggling with rock bands covering reggae

Not sure you are wrong there, apparently chrissie wrote it , here’s what songfacts says This was written by Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders, as "like all the other London punks, I wanted to do reggae." It was included on The Pretenders 1980 self-titled debut album but when the singer heard Jones' version she conceded, "That's how it's supposed to be done." Jamaican musical legends Sly Dunbar & Robbie Shakespeare supplied the backing to this track.
