    Hello

    Welcome op 👍
  3. It wouldn’t do any harm but If the four screws are good fixings, I don’t see much point 🙂
  4. How about a bit of Ronnie Davis
  5. Yeah none of the clubs were specifically reggae, only one nighters, it would be different music on different nights, there was some basement reggae clubs scattered around, the only one that was, was the four aces in Dalston, I used to follow Jah Shaka and Sir coxone then too
  6. Cruising through Forest gate listening to this
  7. Good video 👍, I don’t get involved in politics , I just like the music, but I’d say most reggae and dub we listen to has a message, Exodus was a massive influence on me ,it’s a great album, and if you listen to the lyrics in this, it’s definitely telling a story
  8. I did a quick one on here but nothing came up 🙂
  9. Would a 3 way one work on a stack knob plate, similar to the Yamaha bb , one position for neck pickup, one for bridge and one for both.
  10. Someone suggested we try Heaven club one night, that was interesting 😁
  11. I was there late 70s early 80s and it moved a few times around Oxford street, then disappeared, another shop was Red Records opposite Brixton station but that disappeared too, there was a shop in Romford called Boogie Times , which sold reggae and house music and it was also a ticket outlet, I met Keith Flint there once , apparently their studio wasn’t far away
  12. Probably had a few woodbines and forgot 😂
  13. One thing that was good in Lunnon was this place, it had the most amazing collection of reggae and dub, lots of it was straight from the studios in Jamaica, and imports, I spent all day on Saturdays in there 🙂
  14. I love these stories t-h 👍
  15. I was there regularly, it was known as the WAG club
  16. Rodigan played them one night
  17. Yeah, I’ve heard lots of versions , it’s trying to remember them all 😁
  18. It’s not ramblings Tandro , I do it all the time , it’s great to research the origins of the tracks , I was playing the Bassline to trinity a while back and realised I had 4 different versions on various albums, it’s known as the cuss cuss riddim , which led me on a journey to find the original.
  19. I love a bit of reggae Sleuthing😁, it can lead to some great information and tracks, I like finding out who did the original
  20. The original , a big tune in the sound system days
  21. How about some Black Slate from back in the day
