  1. There’s a few from the 90s in riddim ID https://riddim-id.com/riddims/733/love-me-forever
  2. That’s a great song and yeah there’s many versions, if I’m not mistaken I think the original is by Carlton &the shoes, I’ll have a look at the 90s releases
  3. Good one here from Don, guess the Flabba Basslines , I’ve got a few already and know more, just got to think of them
  4. I would try pauls suggestion above, and have a close look at the frets snorkie, I’m guessing it’s something minor, I’ve had so many jazzes and precision’s over the years and none have had any dead spots ,despite what some may say it’s not common in my experience of them
  5. I’m different in that I buy my vintage basses to play and not for show, I happily play them anywhere and they’ve never let me down
  6. I had one of the Fender Classic 70s Jazzes for a long time, really nice jazzes, the necks are deeper than a standard jazz
  7. I use a tab pdf and print lots off , then I hole punch them and put them in a folder , a notebook would be handy though
  8. Sounds great, would love to see a pic if you have one webby
  9. I occasionally play both, I wouldn’t say either is better as such, it’s just a personal preference , i like vintage fenders so it’s 4 for me
  10. Nice tune frank, and the mellow dub version
  11. Browsing through some backing tracks to play over and came across this one, good riddim
  12. Haven’t heard that in a long while, I remember buying the album when it came out and was blown away, great selection
  13. Hi, fairly sure you can’t use both outlets at the same time on a valve amp as I asked this once myself , but I’m sure someone with more expertise will be along soon
  14. Also I think sometimes it can be as simple as people spend a lot of money on one and it turns out that it’s just not the bass for them , because it’s been sold a few times doesn’t necessarily mean there’s anything wrong with it, I’ve seen many good basses here passed on 5 or 6 times. I’ve done it myself, I spent over 2K on a beautiful custom Sandberg and didn’t really gel with it and sold it at a big loss , at least with most of the vintage ones you shouldn’t lose any money if it doesn’t work out
  15. I know the seller, he’s a good guy
  16. Quite surprised no one has snapped this up, looks very nice
  17. I had labella LTF’s on my California TT custom, very smooth sound and clear deep bass
  18. Linval Thompson and U brown, big tune
  19. Looking forward to hearing this, I’ve heard the original concert but I’m guessing the edited version will be really good , and apparently by using an app you can also see some of the footage that was filmed in the prison
  20. Maybe ask here MBA, I think a few people have
  21. Same for me too, I like the 38-40 ish, my AV62 P is 44 which is ok but I prefer slightly less
  22. Got a reply, All original apart from the brass nut which was fitted later, the nut measures at 44mm, quite surprised at the 44, every 70s ones I’ve had and played have been 40-42
  23. Weight doesn’t matter to me, strangely I don’t mind a heavy bass
