  1. Nice one, I’ve added that to my, to play list 👍
  2. Thanks for that info KbD 👍
  3. The truss rod didn’t work properly, I play with a really low action and I couldn’t get it low enough for me, apart from that, nothing else. Thanks for that information Al, one thing I do like about these models is the pickup switch , it’s so convenient to just flick it to change the tone
  4. Hi Al, I was going to ask, I liked the 414 and I wouldn’t have got rid of it if it didn’t have a problem with the neck, the 1024 seems much better made , does it have different pickups or electrics, because unless it’s my imagination it sounds more refined and clearer and more output
  5. Cool, I only asked because I fitted tonerider in one of my precision’s, they were cheap as chips and sound great
  6. Quick update, it’s now got Labella LTFs on and I’ve set the action up, I didn’t have to touch the neck, it was dead straight, I just lowered the saddles it’s at 1.5mm at the 12th unfretted with no buzz, it sounds and feels so much better, with both pickups on or just the P , and tone at about 40% it really sounds good and perfect for reggae
  7. Great footage of the wailers here
  8. Good question Ricky, I’ve seen a 69 P with an A profile but that’s after the jazz was released
  9. I like watching this , it doesn’t matter how much I practice, I don’t think I’ll ever get up to this speed
  10. Nice version of the big ship rhythm here, and another by Eek a mouse .
  11. Really great collection gobasserk, and I like the floor 🙂
  12. Great video bean, I don’t work that hard in the gym 😁
  13. Making anything is good experience Si, no two things are ever the same, woods have different grains and structures, it also gets you used to the feel of the tools , in some joinery shops the first thing you are asked to do is to make something straightforward, just so they can see how you work and how you handle the tools and machinery 🙂
  14. Yeah I think you could, I just missed out on buying a 78 precision a few years back, it had the letter A on the neck heel for the jazz neck , edit, this was it
  15. I’ve got to stop looking at this thread or it’s gonna cost me money 😁
  16. I think you’re right , a few different sites are saying different dates The group had several Studio One recorded hits in Jamaica, most notably "Love me Forever" in 1968. Carlton and The Shoes Genres Reggae Labels Studio One Members Carlton Manning Donald Manning Lynford Manning Alexander Henry The group is led by Carlton Manning, and the line-up was originally completed by his younger brothers Donald and Lynford (both members of The Abyssinians),
  17. You could be right there, it was released I 1976
  18. Sounds good Bean, I’ll look forward to seeing it, give us a shout when you’ve done it , I’ve seen your other videos 👍
  19. I like the middle one, and that’s a nice rig tricky
  20. I’ve got a few Jackie Mitoo tracks, I’ll have to dig them out
  21. Yes please stew , hope your keeping well 👍
  22. Came across a track I hadn’t heard today, or the band , it’s a similar rhythm to downpressor man by Peter Tosh , nice mix at 3.40
