  1. Yeah, all the US jazzes I’ve had have had the truss rod adjustment at the heel, and the slotted bridge saddles for string spacing , there’s a few pics on p23 of the ,white bass porn thread 🙂

  7. I find it really hard to part with my gear, mainly because I’m quite selective in the first place, but I sold 2 jazzes and 2 precision’s recently that I wasn’t playing much, and it felt really good, and it enabled me to buy another jazz 😁

  18. My first bass, Many have already seen it, but I’ll bore you again 😁, bought off a friend around 1979 , and it was fairly old then, it served me well playing in a few reggae bands for a good few years around east London , it now hangs on my summerhouse wall 🙂

  24. I’m learning lots of sayings here, gritty clank, rattle, chewie midrange, buh, clicky percussive, buzzy, clackerty timbres, plasticky overtones, twangy, clank, mush , I didn’t realise you could get so many sounds 😁
