  1. Very cool J Bass, thanks for sharing
  2. I’ve heard from Don Chandler @donstrumental and tomorrow he’ll be launching a reggae bass course for anyone interested on Reggae Bass Hub
  3. Oh yes , very nice indeed, congrats
  4. Did anyone here win it, I’d be interested to hear what it’s like
  5. Very nice VType, I’ve always liked those , congrats
  6. Cheers , I didn’t remember seeing any in the limelight thread
  7. I’ve had sandbergs and they are superb instruments, especially the build quality, I had a custom one made too which was very nice, mine all setup with a really low action and lovely necks and a great sound , I would say the only reason I didn’t totally gel with them was because I always reverted back to my fenders, nothing to do with the basses themselves, it’s just me, I was tempted by the Ida Nielsen signature but I don’t think I’d stick with it
  8. Don’t think limelight did this style of bass did they, isn’t it just precisions and jazzes
  9. I think some of it might be legit, hard to say without properly checking it out
  10. The seller told me he has owned this for about 40 years
  11. I think he might have had it done by now 😁
  12. It’s certainly special 😂
  13. Welcome Matty
  14. A recent one from Roberto Sanchez I’m liking
  15. Really nice Ash, I bet that sounds quite powerful
  16. Yeah definitely
  17. He told me it’s a 69
  18. I never really studied the tele bass much, it was re-introduced in 68 I think, it’s an Interesting one, the neck plate dates to 68 with the large F , looks like small ferrules on the body stringing too
  19. Welcome Phil
  20. True stubs, similar to the AVRI, I’ve got a 62 jazz and a 62 precision, they are outstanding instruments
  21. I’m neither an accountant or lawyer but I am a big fender fan, I know there’s lots here that aren’t, if you can afford it then CS fenders are pretty much the best you can get if you can find the right one for you , I’d have another tomorrow if one caught my eye but I’d be a bit more selective now rather than just jumping in and buying them , there’s nothing wrong with wanting the best you can buy, whether it’s worth the price doesn’t matter to me if it’s something you want and it makes you happy every time you pick it up
  22. I haven’t bought any lately ,but I have been tempted whenever I see a Sean Hurley CS precision listed
