When I was in there yesterday they told me that if a bass comes from their warehouse, delivery is 6 days, if it’s a large item it is posted as freight, and can take up to 10 days

I’m the same, and I only use flats, I might get an occasional rattle playing acoustically but that’s it, my Sandberg goes ridiculously low

I’ve just been in DV247 in Romford to try a steinberger but they didn’t have any in stock, but what I did see was this really cool mini bass, if anyone is looking for one, they look great, I was tempted myself 😁

I’ve always understood the graduated clearance under the strings is to allow for Vibration, but I set mine as low as it will go without fret buzz , if for any reason it won’t set low it goes out the door

There’s a BB414 on gumtree , it’s a bit pricey and it’s got 3 knobs, my one had 2 and the pickup switch , is it a different model

I’ve been to the Romford shop many times, they used to have a tech in there setting up basses and guitars, they seem more geared up for keyboards and mixing now, but they do have quite a few basses in there, very helpful staff
