  2. Definitely, it’s the only way 😁
  3. @rory I’m not sure where you are but there’s a US jazz deluxe On gumtree, what might be worth a cheeky offer
  4. Great one mr slapper, I saw them back in the day and I remember them really driving this one
  5. It’s not the sort of music I would normally listen to but that’s superb acro, love it ☝️
  6. Really like the vocals on this, but I can’t make up my mind on the song , I think it needs dubbing up😁
  7. Listening to a bit of Cultural Roots this morning, I’ve added this Bassline to my, to play list for later
  8. Really nice playing BCman 👍, your sledgehammer cover is great too
  9. I recently got this one to try, which is quick and easy but it does mute quite a lot, which is good if your looking for that sound in particular, but it’s a bit much for me in normal use 🙂
  10. Nice tonehenge fretmeister , I nearly bought one of those a while ago, I really don’t like fan noise, does it just come on when it needs to
  11. It looks great, ebony is my all time favourite board, I specified it when I had my Sandberg made
  12. Thanks ez, listening back I think you’re right , If I hear of a bassmute going, I’ll let you know , I’ve seen this one but I don’t know how much they cost
  13. Friday Fred locks
  14. I’m not sure if you’re joking or not but I think that’s a great bit of playing 🙂
  15. Don’t think we’ve had this one, nice Bassline, definitely some muting going on, unless it’s an upright , what do you think
  16. I didn’t know there was a wall of shame Al, I haven’t been back to the first post, nice work 👍
  17. Great basses GLWYS frank 👍
  18. You may have had different fender flats to me, mine were high tension and quite bright, they wasn’t for me, I use labella LTFs on everything now 🙂
  19. A couple of years ago I went to pmt to try a custom shop jazz and the assistant was playing a rickenbacker, so I had a go, I don’t like the look and I didn’t like the shape or sound, but the neck had a very flat fingerboard, and low action , it was a dream to play, but a bit bright sounding for me
  20. This is good for a mute, I got some from work and it works a treat , just cut it to length
  21. Yeah that’s pretty much what I do, with a bit of mid for clarity I like the foam mute sometimes, on one of my precision’s I’ve got the bassmute, which you can switch on and off, but imo they are expensive 🙂
  22. I don’t much but it’s nice to play now and again , I’m not helping am I 😁
  23. That’s the same as my one, really good bass
