Someone suggested we try Heaven club one night, that was interesting 😁

I was there late 70s early 80s and it moved a few times around Oxford street, then disappeared, another shop was Red Records opposite Brixton station but that disappeared too, there was a shop in Romford called Boogie Times , which sold reggae and house music and it was also a ticket outlet, I met Keith Flint there once , apparently their studio wasn’t far away

Probably had a few woodbines and forgot 😂

One thing that was good in Lunnon was this place, it had the most amazing collection of reggae and dub, lots of it was straight from the studios in Jamaica, and imports, I spent all day on Saturdays in there 🙂

Yeah, I’ve heard lots of versions , it’s trying to remember them all 😁

It’s not ramblings Tandro , I do it all the time , it’s great to research the origins of the tracks , I was playing the Bassline to trinity a while back and realised I had 4 different versions on various albums, it’s known as the cuss cuss riddim , which led me on a journey to find the original.

I love a bit of reggae Sleuthing😁, it can lead to some great information and tracks, I like finding out who did the original

I used to listen to a lot of snoop and Dre, and when snoop dog changed and went reggae as snoop lion I thought it was going to be great, but I listened to all the albums and I didn’t like one track

The truss rod didn’t work properly, I play with a really low action and I couldn’t get it low enough for me, apart from that, nothing else. Thanks for that information Al, one thing I do like about these models is the pickup switch , it’s so convenient to just flick it to change the tone

Hi Al, I was going to ask, I liked the 414 and I wouldn’t have got rid of it if it didn’t have a problem with the neck, the 1024 seems much better made , does it have different pickups or electrics, because unless it’s my imagination it sounds more refined and clearer and more output

Cool, I only asked because I fitted tonerider in one of my precision’s, they were cheap as chips and sound great

What pickups are you fitting

Quick update, it’s now got Labella LTFs on and I’ve set the action up, I didn’t have to touch the neck, it was dead straight, I just lowered the saddles it’s at 1.5mm at the 12th unfretted with no buzz, it sounds and feels so much better, with both pickups on or just the P , and tone at about 40% it really sounds good and perfect for reggae
