I don’t think they do sound the same, I’ll admit after watching that video a few times it’s not as good as I thought it was , you can’t get this sound from a pick 🙂

It could have been a timber treatment that was used, when I used to fit roof trusses they would smell a bit like petrol when you cut them , because of the preservatives

I drive over to barking sometimes, there’s a place there called The Jerk Pit, the shop isn’t that big but the chicken rice and coleslaw is amazing 🙂

interesting that it says, Large gatherings known as sound systems would take place at carnivals in Reading and Oxford, Where would you say the first sound systems took place, because I remember them from east London when I was a kid 🙂

Has anyone had any experience with the Ida NIelsen 4, I don’t normally like gold hardware but it looks ok on this, it’s a great looking bass

I’ve been playing the 1024 all this week, and with the RM500 on the same settings, the low end output is surprisingly higher than my US jazz and the Sandberg in passive mode, and all of them have the same labella LTF’s fitted, the bass is so much deeper, so nice

I’ve got a nearly all black jazz, but I’m not overly keen on the black control plate, but the bridges look good
