    I’ve had a set of those on one of my jazzes for about 7 years, they are a great flat, if you want brightness they are not for you but they are by no means dull, I got mine for £10 if I remember rightly

    If it’s just for that si, why not get yourself a small router or a trimmer router, you can use it for everything, I’ve got the new makita one and it’s unreal

    The Stanley 55 is IMO the top combination plane, I’ve recently sharpened all the blades and cutters on one for a friend, they really do have endless uses, they are quite collectible now, if it’s got the cutters and the fence attachments and it’s a reasonable price you can have some fun with it and you will always be able to sell it again 🙂

    I’ve been listening to some junior Reid lately , a nice track here , quite a recognised Bassline, produced by Prince jammy, great mix at 3.10
