  1. I’ve never had one Dov, but I’m seriously considering adding one to the collection, I really liked the grey sparkle one with the 2 pickups , that one above is stunning 🤩
  2. And he’s quite funny too
  3. I could listen to this all day 🙂
  4. For theory Dan is quickly becoming one of my favourites , really well explained
  5. Loving that 👍
  6. If you want a few good drum beats to play along to , try these , they are raw drum tracks from the albums and this is my favourite and this
  7. I’ve got that, I must dig it out later, I bought it and never really read it 👍
  8. For me bean it’s all about leaving space, sometimes less is more, if you want a driving bassline, this one by Robbie is superb, one of my favourite tunes, it’s not the easiest to play 🙂
  9. 1978 , nice Bassline
  10. Old style ☝️
  11. I’ve got 2 jazzes with D’addario tapewounds, they are well worn in , they give a nice warm tone , which suits me but if you’re looking for highs they wouldn’t be good
  12. Little bit of info here on groovewiz, out of interest, I’ll have to check my BB nut width later , it says here it’s 42.9 https://groovewiz.com/best-5-string-bass-for-small-hands/
  13. I play jazzes and like a slim neck and I find my Yamaha 415 easy to play, I think the nut is 41mm , which is the same as my precision , hope this helps 🙂
  14. Thanks very much jazzy👍 , I know we spoke about strings a while back, but I couldn’t remember what you used
  15. If it’s for rigidity Si, I’d go for solid, and it also won’t splinter if you catch it loading pieces on and off 🙂
  16. Did it look like the B15 or the portaflex head
  17. Very nice Frank , and I like the grain in the wood ☝️, it’s very similar to my one , I think the block inlays may have been an extra on request , because when I ordered my natural finish one (I didn’t want markers) I was told they come without them unless it’s a signature model
  18. That’s really nice bassadder, is that mute at the bridge adjustable to on or off or is it fixed 🙂
  19. Nice groove chabru 👍
  20. I’ve had a set of those on a jazz for about 6 or 7 years, they did take a while to break in , probably about 6 weeks on and off, then they really mellowed and are even better now, I think I paid about £10 for them, bargain 🙂
  21. Love this Bassline
  22. This isn’t doing my street cred any good is it 😁
  23. That was Atomic Kitten (a friend told me, honest 😁
  24. I can’t help with roundwound strings as all my basses apart from 1 precision have flats, or tapes, I think @jazzyvee uses rounds, maybe he could advise 🙂
  25. It’s up to £980 with 8 minutes left
