  1. Thanks nile, that’s good to know, I’ve always used fender necks before but just wondered about these 🙂
  2. I nearly bought one of these a while back for a project, it looks decent enough, and I received an offer after watching it for £46, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20-FRET-J-B-GUITAR-NECK-MAPLE-NECK-ROSE-FINGERBOARD-34-Scale-38mm-NUT-d7jr-/233870953321?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292
  3. Yeah she’s very good, I’m subscribed so I watch most of her videos, there’s some good samba style ones on there if you fancy a challenge, I’ve tried but they are a bit fast for me 😁
  4. Edit, hi and welcome Sora 👍, The logo doesn’t look right to me, I had the Mexican one and it had the bullet truss rod, didn’t the us one have the truss access at the heel
  5. I can remember using one of these back in the day when I first started playing 😂, I wish I could find those tapes now
  6. I’ve only just 4 days ago started recording myself, and listening back it wasn’t quite as bad as I thought, I was bang on with the rhythm , but what did stand out was how inconsistent the note lengths were , so I’m addressing that, but all in all anything that makes you play better has to be good, I can see myself getting addicted to it 😁
  7. I suppose it depends what sound you like, I like the slightly muted tone for what I play, I also like foam under the bridge and I’ve a jazz with a bassmute fitted, which is great, but if you want that bright zing then it wouldn’t be any good 🙂
  8. Quick question for anybody who uses an irig2 with GarageBand, I know it’s what they are made for but can using one of these do your amp any harm
  9. That’s a couple of crackers there @meterman, I like a lot of scientists work, this is a great track which I’m pretty sure he mixed and I’m not sure if you’ve seen any covers by wobass, she lives in France (maybe near you) and does some transcribing for me, when I’m too lazy to do it myself 😁, check out some of her videos
  10. I remember that one Ricky , it was around the time as smooth operator, by Sade I think , about 1985, I like Sade 😉😁
  11. Nice groove oakforest , thanks for that ☝️
  12. Definitely, it’s mostly what I use these days, there’s a great thread here if you haven’t seen it already 🙂
  13. Out of interest I’ve just counted them 😁, there’s 20,
  14. This is what I do, and I’ve got tuner pedal, and the two are normally spot on
  15. Welcome Guzzigaga ☝️

    Hello.

    Welcome Mutley ☝️
  17. I’ve never altered mine from Sandberg, but yeah you can adjust the width Dave 🙂
  18. Not so much as a favourite but I stumbled across this guy, he’s a really good player and has a wide variety of covers on his channel
  19. Cheers, I’ll stick with GarageBand for the moment, but I’ll take a look at Logic, I tried AmpliTube before that, but gB seems simpler
  20. It’s taken endless hours cuzzie but I’m getting there, I can import tracks now and record over them yay 😀, I’m now going through all the settings and bar lengths , I’m quite enjoying it , it’s a new learning curve
