  1. I can’t say that it’s my kinda thing as I only really play fenders, but if you’re happy with it and it plays and sounds good then it’s not a bad price
  2. What a great one t-h , love that tune, I often watch this with scratch in action , great Bassline too
  3. Very cool, are they flats or rounds 😁
  4. Really nice bass, good luck with everything
  5. I have read a fair bit about them before once and didn’t twig that was their shop, probably best to avoid them, thanks for pointing this out
  6. Could have been mine, he only used 5 frets 😁
  7. This must have been heavily played looking at the neck wear, nice bass https://reverb.com/uk/item/79902368-fender-precision-1966-blonde-slab-ex-the-who-john-entwhistle
  8. Is that the white label one? Don’t think it’s on YT
  9. Isn’t the original one by Freddie McGregor on the album Bobby Bobylon which was released in 1979
  10. Assuming not only are they scamming but avoiding reverb fees
  11. Really nice , looks in great condition, good find
  12. Zombie thread 🧟, I’ve played a couple, great Basslines and not the easiest I’d say
  13. Very cool T-h, things like that don’t happen very often, good times
  14. Was going through some of King Sounds tracks and I like this version of the heptones song Book of Rules, great voice and bass
  15. That’s really good going Chris, well done, I’d struggle with that myself
  16. I’ve had custom shop fenders and they are amazing instruments, don’t know where you get the badly bolted together bit, they have gone up in price considerably and I wouldn’t now pay 5k for one, I’d rather go vintage for that money
  17. Really liking this, Aston Familyman Barrett on bass & Junior Marvin on guitar, Aston Barrett Jr on drums
  18. Hi SumOne , there’s some info on here about the releases you might find interesting, lots of other links to look through too at the top, I like the one on the early labels https://www.downbeat-special.co.uk/truthsandrights.html
