    I really liked my 414 , it played and sounded great, but as you probably remember Al it had a problem with the neck , so I sold it to someone who was going to work on it, I’m hoping this one is Ok 🙂

    I’m supposed to be picking up another jazz the weekend but the seller is not very responsive, so I put a bid in at £304 on the 1024 a day or so ago, but I didn’t expect to win it at that

    I’m not encouraging you to spend money am I 😂, they are a small bullnose plane , handy for rebates, it looks like it’s in its original box

    Steinberger basses are fairly light, I think they are around the 7.5 lb weight

    I can’t remember what they were new , but you won’t see many us jazzes around less than £650🙂

    Nothing wrong with that SumOne, I do it all day 😁, that’s a great version, concrete jungle is among my favourite tracks, not the easiest to play, great bassline 👍

    I’m not 100% sure but didn’t the 1997 only have string through body , otherwise they are a great bass and that’s a good price

    Yeah, it was quite a few years ago , but they didn’t feel great out of the packet , but once they were played in they just got better and better, I can imagine they sound good on a mustang 👍

    I’ve often thought of having a stack knob jazz finished in shell pink sparkle , with an ebony fingerboard, I think that would look cool
