  1. Your right there cuzzie, the grain on that one does add character
  2. I wouldn’t reply to that one myself lefty
  3. Wow that’s so nice mowf, , great mojo, i like that 👍I know a lot of them have joins , it’s just me being picky , it doesn’t put me off buying one, I was just curious
  4. It’s surprising how many Basslines are stored in your memory bank, but for me I need to play the track to recall it , I can put on a song I probably haven’t played the Bassline to since the 80s and still remember it
  5. Would I be right in saying that natural finishes weren’t offered until around 1972, and I don’t like to see joins in the wood bodies, is a one piece body rare , because pretty much all the ones I see are 2 and 3 piece 🙂
  6. That’s exactly the settings I’ve found that work for me, any more compression than 10 o clock doesn’t sound good to me, and I don’t use drive or sub at all, it seemed to distort the sound, but I suppose it depends what type of music you play, I like a nice clean deep bass 🙂
  7. I’m a big Alborosie fan, there’s a good collaboration here and A top Alborosie track ☝️
  8. That one takes me back myke, you will definitely recognise the rhythm on this one
  9. Really great rig dave, I don’t think this will be here long 🙂
  10. I use markbass cabs and the amp doesn’t move, on tolex the mat is a good idea
  11. Not that it needed it , but I put my sansamp VT Pedal through the rm last night, and it sounds superb , I can see it being a permanent fixture
  12. Welcome Newwiekins👍
  13. You’ve had some seriously nice basses 4000, do you have a picture of it 🙂
  14. I’m the same Andy, I’ve been tempted by a few that were for sale on here , but they were quite a way from me to try, and they didn’t hang around either 🙂
  15. I’ve never really followed Wal’s, but there’s certainly some stunners in a few other threads, how are they for holding their value? What I’m thinking is , if I ordered one for example for 8k and it took 3 years to complete , if I really liked it I would keep it, but if for some reason It wasn’t for me, would I get my money back if I sold it on
  16. This is the 3rd or 4th time it’s been listed at 9k , I’m sure he knows what it’s worth , seems a bit pointless really, nice bass though 🙂
