  1. I remember your ones stew, didn’t you switch to BF cabs, how do they compare, I’ve been tempted by those many times, the one I want is the dubster but they don’t come up very often
  2. Yeah, that’s what I use, the NY 151’s, I’m really happy with mine, they have a really deep warm sound and are really light, very solid with no rattle or vibration noise , just to add javi, they do the mids and highs well too, they aren’t muddy like some seem to think 🙂
  3. Looks like a really nice bit of kit Teebs, I’ve had a few EQ’s , the older versions , and they worked very well , your one has some great settings, might take a while to work them out but once they are set I can see this being really good 🙂
  4. 2 PF115LF’s would sound immense ☝️
  5. This one 🙂
  6. Are you using expanded view at the top of the bc page
  7. I could be wrong but I don’t think there’s a text size setting on bc , are you able to do it in your device settings 🙂
  8. Oh yeah, that’s so nice , excellent purchase ☝️
  9. I’m really not a jaco fan , but I do like the sound and look of this bass
  10. Fond memories of that tune being on the jukebox in a pub in Stratford, east London, it cost me a lot of money, I played it non stop 😁
  11. Can’t beat a bit of the cool ruler stew ☝️
  12. Wow, if my maths is right that’s just over 26%
  13. The mistake most people make is not having the right size drill bit for the right size screw, in wood if you remember to use a , 2.5 mm drill bit for a no6 screw and a 3mm bit for a no8 screw, you won’t go wrong because it pilots a hole smaller than the screw, and it will grip, and in masonry it’s a 6mm hole for a no6 rawlplug (usually red) and a 7mm hole for a no7 plug (usually brown) 🙂
  14. Welcome jeanluc 👍
  15. There’s some stunners here
  16. Your right there cuzzie, the grain on that one does add character
  17. I wouldn’t reply to that one myself lefty
  18. Wow that’s so nice mowf, , great mojo, i like that 👍I know a lot of them have joins , it’s just me being picky , it doesn’t put me off buying one, I was just curious
  19. It’s surprising how many Basslines are stored in your memory bank, but for me I need to play the track to recall it , I can put on a song I probably haven’t played the Bassline to since the 80s and still remember it
  20. Would I be right in saying that natural finishes weren’t offered until around 1972, and I don’t like to see joins in the wood bodies, is a one piece body rare , because pretty much all the ones I see are 2 and 3 piece 🙂
  21. Nice P bass groove here
  22. That’s exactly the settings I’ve found that work for me, any more compression than 10 o clock doesn’t sound good to me, and I don’t use drive or sub at all, it seemed to distort the sound, but I suppose it depends what type of music you play, I like a nice clean deep bass 🙂
  23. I’m a big Alborosie fan, there’s a good collaboration here and A top Alborosie track ☝️
  24. Groundation , nice bass ☝️
