  7. The wailers recent album has been getting some poor reviews on some reggae sites, so I listened to the whole album last night, Aston Barrett jr and Julian Marley are on it , this is the only track that I really liked.

  10. These are by far the best, I work for the Nhs and got a small pair off one of the podiatrists for my fingernails, they cut really clean, and stay sharp

A Bassline I struggled with for a long time is this, it’s not technically hard but I couldn’t get the timing changes, I broke it down into sections and note by note each day, but still made mistakes, then I left it a few weeks and came back to it and played it spot on. Having a break works well for me. I also find listening to the song while I’m driving helps to memorise the bass.
  14. When I sprayed one of my headstocks black I had a bit of trouble fitting the Ferrule, so I gently sanded the inside of the hole so it wasn’t so tight .
  15. Yeah I noticed that, it looks like they’ve run it parallel to the long edges, thats looking great already rich 👍
  16. Going by my first real set up , around 1979, which was a HHic100s and 2x15 speakers , which I think I paid about £200 for second hand at the time, I’d say the Peavey rig would be between £400- £500 🙂

  19. There was , it was at the top near the new kings road , I used to live opposite it, I think it closed down about 1985.
  20. While we’re talking colour blues, another jazz I looked at was ocean turquoise , it looked pretty blue to me , it was really nice , here’s one
  21. Ebony fingerboards , and dark boards, especially when they are nicely played in .
