Yep old flats for me too the older the better, I like the sound and the feel , no top end zing for me 😁, if I need more strings for new basses I buy used flats

I don’t know the Bpm , but I can just about play the beginning of Dean town by Vulfpeck,

My closest friend play’s in a few rock/metal bands in Southend, and he said if I learnt a few songs I could jump in and play one with his band, i said yeah sure, so he sent me, Hysteria by Muse , I’d never heard it before so I gave it a shot, and Wow , it took me about a week to get the first 30 seconds down 😁, I gave up, I’m sure he done it on purpose 😂
