I think I bassline is one size but gruv gear do different sizes, this is a pic as a guide -
Nice bass your looking at getting there Grav , if the bass is too far away to go and see , I would ask for some close up pics of the actual bass, most shops are quite good, that might give you a better idea of the colour 🙂

Olympic white and shell pink are my favourite bass colours, I think sometimes it also depends on the camera and light, this pic is Olympic white in good light

Some people like them and some don’t, I’ve got them on all my basses, I’ve found the best ones to be , ibassline and gruv gear , they sometimes come in sizes and normally a 4 string jazz is a small, there’s been a few threads on them, I’ll see if I can find them 🙂 -

Love that tune and I did try it a while back , on and off for a few weeks, but I have to admit I did struggle , I was using this as a guide

Does the 1024 have a dual action truss rod, as I think my 414 had a single action one

I had the 414 but it turned out it had a problem with the truss rod and I couldn’t get the action low enough for me, but I really liked the way it sounded and the playability, very different from my jazzes and P’s , so I’m thinking I’ll try another Yamaha 🙂
