Hi myke, i can’t help with the song but I found these exercises by Mark to be helpful for me to build up my speed when I struggled a bit with a few tracks, particularly the one about 5.20 🙂

It’s right what some are saying about the jedson basses being over priced now, but mine served me well, I bought it in around 1978 and it was quite old then, it was my first bass and all I could afford, I had lessons and went on to play in 2 reggae bands with it, from what I can remember it sounded pretty good through a HH amp and 2x15 cabs , I’ve still got it for nostalgia, it hangs on my summerhouse wall, I’ve got pics but I think most have seen it now 🙂

Very nice Doctor J, they have a sleek look about them and quite a powerful sound I believe 👍

I’m permanently logged in on safari with an iPad Pro, but lately it keeps going off and I have to keep logging in, is it something my end 🙂

Two versions here some might be interested in of , Take it Easy, the first is I think the original by Dennis brown around 1973 on studio 1, and my favourite, a great heavy version with Gregory isaacs, mixed by Joe Gibbs

The first flat I bought was completely painted magnolia , doors, frames , walls, ceilings, windows, and woodchip wallpaper , it took months to re decorate , I never want to see that colour again 😁

Nice bass your looking at getting there Grav , if the bass is too far away to go and see , I would ask for some close up pics of the actual bass, most shops are quite good, that might give you a better idea of the colour 🙂

Olympic white and shell pink are my favourite bass colours, I think sometimes it also depends on the camera and light, this pic is Olympic white in good light

Some people like them and some don’t, I’ve got them on all my basses, I’ve found the best ones to be , ibassline and gruv gear , they sometimes come in sizes and normally a 4 string jazz is a small, there’s been a few threads on them, I’ll see if I can find them 🙂
