Thanks for that Burns bass, I was looking for another white/tort US pro jazz, I stupidly sold mine a while ago, and your shell pink one came up , I’d forgotten how nice that neck is , can I ask, do the pickups sound vintage or are they brighter 🙂

I’ve got a Trace Ellliot 115 extension cab on my old Ashdown mag 300 in my summerhouse, I paid about £90 for it locally, it was hardly used and in mint condition, that puts out some serious bass

Not quite sure what you mean there sponz 🙂, if you needed an accurate hole I use these, otherwise if you pilot a hole smaller than you need and step up 1mm each time, the bit finds the hole and enlarges it 🙂

If it’s only 1mm , I would go with with a file, you shouldn’t get any breakout then you can drill the jack out with normal drill bits, just start with a pilot bit and work your way up a few mm at a time 🙂

I remember your ones stew, didn’t you switch to BF cabs, how do they compare, I’ve been tempted by those many times, the one I want is the dubster but they don’t come up very often

Yeah, that’s what I use, the NY 151’s, I’m really happy with mine, they have a really deep warm sound and are really light, very solid with no rattle or vibration noise , just to add javi, they do the mids and highs well too, they aren’t muddy like some seem to think 🙂

Looks like a really nice bit of kit Teebs, I’ve had a few EQ’s , the older versions , and they worked very well , your one has some great settings, might take a while to work them out but once they are set I can see this being really good 🙂

Fond memories of that tune being on the jukebox in a pub in Stratford, east London, it cost me a lot of money, I played it non stop 😁

The mistake most people make is not having the right size drill bit for the right size screw, in wood if you remember to use a , 2.5 mm drill bit for a no6 screw and a 3mm bit for a no8 screw, you won’t go wrong because it pilots a hole smaller than the screw, and it will grip, and in masonry it’s a 6mm hole for a no6 rawlplug (usually red) and a 7mm hole for a no7 plug (usually brown) 🙂
