  4. If you want me to take some measurements nige just let me know, or I can take the template to work and photocopy it , and I’ll pop some copies in the post to you 🙂
  5. The screws are the same size head as a scratchplate but a bit longer and with a washer because of the slot in the mute
  6. I’m sure I’ve got one somewhere that came with my 62RI jazz, I’ll have a look when I get home nige 🙂
  7. It might be legit, it might not, but I wouldn’t be comfortable giving them my details
  8. One of the best combinations for me, sly and Robbie with Mykal Rose , great Bassline
  9. The markbass blackline has the power switch on the front, I use mine sometimes for home practice, nice little amp really 🙂
  10. A long time ago it was always known as a scratchplate but it seems to be more commonly known as a pickguard now,
  11. I know what you’re saying, he does go on a bit but he knows his stuff
  12. I’ve found, The strings make a difference , the one jazz I have that’s permanently detuned BEAD, has labella deep talking on, which sound fine because of the tension, but if I detune another with LTF’s , it just doesn’t work, fender flats also work well, I can’t speak for rounds as I haven’t used them since 1984 🙂
  13. On the few occasions that I’ve tried playing something different to reggae I’ve used a few of Constantine’s videos , he’s such a good player, and he’s also a member here
  14. That’s brilliant, love it 😄
  15. I’m quite an Alborosie fan and there’s some great bass on his albums , this is one of my favourites, And this one with alborosie on vocals with Raging Fyah, and Delroy Hamilton on bass, it’s a great one to play
  16. Very nice, I did look at those myself 👍
  17. Are they the same thing 🙂
  18. Wow , I didn’t know that, I remember him from about 8 years ago, his videos are not for me but he’s done very well 🙂
  19. I also like DeLuca bass , he breaks down the grooves quite well
  20. One I haven’t looked at for a while is , real bass lessons, he really knows his theory and he can play , if you like the Motown thing , he’s got some good videos
  21. Don’t know what these are like, but for the price they might be worth a go 🙂https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182561604306
